Save Medicare Petition
Dear Mr Albanese and Mr Butler,
At the Federal Election you made a commitment to the Australian people that a Labor Government would protect Medicare. You said “Only Labor will save Medicare”.
Now, as Prime Minister of Australia and as Federal Health Minister, you’ve cut Medicare mental health services for the most vulnerable in our country.
The previous Liberal National Coalition Government knew that mental health support was vital for all Australians, it’s why they increased Medicare supported places from 10 to 20 sessions. Those mental health challenges for our country, and particularly younger Australians still exist today.
The below sighed urge you to restore Medicare funding, and support the mental health of all Australians.
