About Us
The Young Liberal Movement is the youth wing of the Liberal Party of Australia, open to anyone aged between 16 and 31 years. Our Movement is a centre-right, mainstream political organisation with a political philosophy focussed on limited government power, low taxes, individual responsibility, a focus on the family and a strong belief in rewarding initiative and private enterprise.

Patron
Angie Bell MP is the Shadow Minister for Early Childhood Education and the Shadow Minister for Youth, and was appointed as the Federal Patron of the Young Liberal Movement of Australia at its Federal Council meeting on Sunday the 4 February 2024.
Angie grew up as an enthused musician and today is a proud Gold Coaster, representing the beautiful beach-front electorate of Moncrieff.
Angie was previously the President of the Liberal National Party (LNP) Women’s Division, and continues as a trailblazer for women in the Liberal Party, being an incredibly supportive mentor to many young women in our movement.
Serving as the current State Patron of the Young LNP, Angie is a great advocate for the interests of Young Liberals, also serving as the Patron of the Gold Coast IMPACT Youth Summit which she began in March 2023.
