Like any organisation, values are what guide us. Our Movement’s beliefs are rooted in our shared Australian story, built on more than 80 years of our Party’s contribution to our country, and hundreds of years of liberal philosophy and western institutions.
Individual Freedom 👩
Whether it’s choosing where to live, how you practise your beliefs, or the path you choose in work or study, we believe that individual liberty, personal choice, and the freedom to live, speak, and worship as you choose are the core foundations of our strong and democratic society.
Personal Opportunity 🏡
We believe in a fair go, and in empowering individuals to take responsibility for their own lives and reach their own potential, by owning a home, building a career, or starting a business, without being dependent on or burdened by the government. We encourage policies that enable equal opportunity, and the facilitation of wealth, so we can enjoy the highest possible standards of living, health, education and social justice.
Enterprise and Prosperity 👷♂️👩💼
We know that private enterprise — not government, and not the cruel ideology of socialism — is the driver of economic growth, and we support policies that enable Australians to create jobs, grow businesses, or invest in their communities, ensuring that ingenuity, innovation, investment, and effort are rewarded, instead of being punished by Labor’s bureaucratic red tape and burdensome taxes.
Heritage and Tradition 🏛️
We recognise and are excited by the need to be moving forwards as a nation, but not by abandoning what we know is truly important. We believe in the conservation of our honourable traditions; The rule of law, democracy, and the common law, the family unit as the bedrock of strong communities, and non-government and cultural institutions as the core foundations of Western society that have made Australia into the lucky country we know it to be.

We believe in the celebration of mateship, encourage active participation in our communities, and believe every Australian has a role — however big or small — to make Australia better. We Believe
In the inalienable rights and freedoms of all peoples; and we work towards a lean government that minimises interference in our daily lives; and maximises individual and private sector initiative
In government that nurtures and encourages its citizens through incentive, rather than putting limits on people through the punishing disincentives of burdensome taxes and the stifling structures of Labor’s corporate state and bureaucratic red tape.
In those most basic freedoms of parliamentary democracy – the freedom of thought, worship, speech and association.
In a just and humane society in which the importance of the family and the role of law and justice is maintained.
