At the Liberal Party's Federal Council, a number of key policy motions put forward by our Movement were passed. This again highlights that we are making the case, leading the charge and delivering results.
We successfully moved motions to:
- move the Australian embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and to end the Palestinian Martyr's Fund (Watch Federal President Josh Manuatu's speech here);
- privatise the ABC (Watch Federal Vice President Mitchell Collier's speech here); and
- to make the Liberal Logo more prominent in Liberal campaign material (Watch YL Federal Secretary Jocelyn Sutcliffe's speech here).
Young Liberals also moved motions to deal with the ticking debt bomb and to bring the Syrian Government into line.
These motions started in local branches, passed State Young Liberal Councils then the Federal Young Liberal Council and now the Federal Liberal Party Council.
